Topirary in Columbus - Don't Miss This
The Topiary Gardens in the city and not particularly well advertised and therefore can be overlooked. It can be found on the corner of East Town and the Washington Avenue, and is next to the public library. The park is filled with wonderful plant sculptures and is famous for its recreation of the painting 'A Sunday on the Island of La Grande Jatte' by Georges Seurat - something quite unique, a complete one-off.

A day at the Columbus Zoo
My day visiting Columbus Zoo was one of the best days of my holiday. This really is a great zoo and the animals all appeared to be very happy and well looked after. I particularly enjoyed the lorikeet walk and the reptile house. Of course, the penguins were pretty entertaining as well and we managed to catch them being fed. There are even boat rides past the monkeys, manatees and lots of other animal favourites. The car park costs $5 and the zoo itself was $10 each, although you can buy a family membership if you are planning to come here on more than one occasion.
